The RBNZ said on Tuesday Assistant Governor Karen Silk, an MPC member responsible for interest-rate decisions, will resign after the bank’s final policy meeting in December. Silk, who joined the RBNZ in 2022 and most recently served as assistant governor for monetary affairs overseeing market operations and economic analysis, will remain in post through December to ensure an orderly handover and continuity of decision-making, Governor Breman said.
