Zhongtian Technology Group said its cable unit has jointly developed China’s first ±320 kV polypropylene (PP) insulated HVDC cable and China’s first 220 kV solid‑phase grafted PP insulated power cable; both passed type tests. The company said the approvals provide domestically developed green cable options for offshore wind power transmission and urban grid upgrades, offering a new localization solution for high‑voltage AC and DC projects.
