On Sept. 24 at the UN General Assembly general debate, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu displayed a Starlink terminal and said he would hand it to the Iranian delegation so the Iranian people could "exercise choice and access the truth." Many delegations walked out in protest; the Iranian delegation also left and placed a photo of the late IRGC Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani on its seat. After the session Israel's UN ambassador Danny Danon approached the Iranian delegation with a Starlink terminal, said it was "appropriate to give it" and said he "prayed for regime change" in Iran. Both gestures were ignored by the Iranian delegation.
