Counterpoint Research's price-tier shipment forecast projects global sub-$200 smartphone shipments will decline by more than 230 mln units between 2025 and 2030. Total smartphone shipments are expected to recover to 2025 levels by end-2030, but the sub-$200 segment is forecast to be about 40% below its 2025 level.
