Reuters reported that Micron Technology (MU.O)’s Taoyuan, Taiwan, union obtained strike authorization on the 7th. Union leaders said authorization does not equate to an immediate plant shutdown; whether or when a strike will be called remains undecided. The union will hold an international press conference this afternoon to outline next steps.
