IMF on Tuesday cut its forecast for China’s growth this year to 4.5%. At an Oct. 13 regular briefing, CHINA said reporters should consult the relevant Chinese authorities on the IMF assessment and reiterated that China’s economic fundamentals are sound and it is confident in the country’s economic prospects.
