Preliminary reports indicate two missiles struck Iran's Qeshm Island in the early hours of Nov. 7; there is no official word yet on damage. Iranian state news agency IRNA, citing local eyewitnesses, said residents heard aircraft overhead before two flying objects struck the Suza area. Iran's military said it shot down a U.S. MQ-9 drone over Qeshm with air defenses earlier in the pre-dawn hours. The U.S. had no immediate comment on related reports.
